Forecast for tonight, Dec. 6
Tonight’s forecast contains some numbers we don’t see very often. Minus 46 F, wonder what that feels like. Should I venture outside in the night to find out?

OK, for the curious, I was bluffing. I did not go out in the middle of the night to see how cold it was. However, I did check the weather info from the airport, and it did not get as cold or as windy as forecast. The low was “only” minus 10, and the highest wind speed was 17. In general the wind that was forecast for the weekend didn’t materialize, which made it a bit easier to go outside. I’d love to have Uncle Bill, and any other breathing human, as a subscriber. He can simply click the Subscribe button on the right side of the blog.
